Have you ever been frustrated when trying to get easy to understand answers to your kitchen remodeling question?
Well working with a professional kitchen cabinet dealer who has a clearly defined process that walks you through a project from Conception to Completion can dispel many of these frustrations.
Most reputable kitchen renovators will be able to explain the values that are at the core of their kitchen remodeling process. In my case these include, Collaboration, Education, and Transparency. Here is the outline for my process.
Step One: It begins with the first meeting were we will get to know one-another. I will explain the Good-Better- Best approach to cabinetry design and budgeting while showing folks example of all three levels. We will discuss their wish list along with looking at door styles and color finishes. If the customer has not already done some of the research on the various options that are available, I will guide them to resources that are readily available to help them through the process. We will then decide if we want to take the next step in the process.
Step Two: Is a meeting in the home. Measurements would be taken and a concept design board will be presented to the home owner. Additionally, we would work through a preliminary budget projection and collaborate on refining the final design options. I will direct them to information were they can look at INDEPENDETLY conduct customer surveys. At this point we should also make a determination if we have a fit and if it makes sense for us to work together on this kitchen or bath remodeling project. We will then decide if we want to take the next step in the process.
Step Three: This meeting is designed to review and finalize the scope and budget of the project . Time lines for installation and what to expect during installation will be reviewed. Once the contract is signed the materials will be ordered and the customer will be inserted into the production calendar.
Stay tune for part two were I will finish explaining the remodeling process.
